Biography

With a sound that is heavily influenced by synth-pop and new-wave, Los Angeles based Australian singer/songwriter Jeffrey Chan is an artist who is unafraid to experiment and push boundaries.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Jeffrey’s passion for music was first ignited through classical piano lessons from the age of 5, but it wasn’t until later when he began to incorporate his piano training with his love for singing and songwriting. His deep vocals are set against an electronic backdrop, which both contrast and compliment one another in telling stories through vivid lyricism and catchy pop melodies.

Having gained over two million streams in the past two years alone on Spotify and his songs added to local and national radio stations in Australia, Jeffrey’s music continues to resonate with new audiences around the world. Most recently Jeffrey has performed at a number of events in the last year including Breaking Sound LA, as well as a number of notable Pride events such as WeHo Pride and Santa Monica’s Pride On The Promenade (presented by OutLoud).

In a review of Jeffrey’s work Amelia Vandergast (A&R Factory) stated “Jeffrey has what it takes to be the breakthrough artist of the year”. Jeffrey has always proudly been at the centre of all his work; from writing through to recording, to editing all the visuals; to ensure that his creative vision is executed to the best of it’s ability.
